Roses are Red

This rose was saved from our last garden, it didn’t flower last year but it has this year.

It has a bit of a story...

When we moved into our first house this rose was nearly dead, so I replanted it in nice soil and year on year it flowered. When we moved I just couldn’t leave it behind as I felt some sort of silly attachment to it. I was mortified when I thought I killed it after moving it two years ago but as you can see perhaps it was just taking its time to re-establish itself!
