Where did the day go? Emergency blip of the windowsill herbaceous undergrowth.

Attended a meeting this evening about GP surgery Patient Participation Groups. Sounds like a good idea but doesn't seem to have much bite. Lots of glossy paper....

Anyone had good experiences of belonging to one or seen good changes introduced to a surgery through their efforts? We're very fortunate here, the surgery is great and there doesn't seem much that could be tinkered with without funds, funds and more funds. Not realistic. We shall see. Someone might come up with a cracking idea.

Box and tick kept coming to mind but I'm going to try and put my cynical hat in the cupboard.
