My One Tree on My One Street
I went into the village this morning and on the way back took some pictures of my ‘One Tree’ on my ‘One Street’. At the time of the Autumnal Equinox, it looks very different to the pictures from June and last December. It is interesting to note that on Tuesday 3 December 2013 the tree still had its golden autumn leaves, but twenty-four days later on Friday 27 December 2013 the branches were bare. Details, of the project, if you want to join in can be found here and here.
I think for 2015 I shall make a point of photographing it once a month, as I did for my garden series; I have made a note in my 2015 diary and put a reminder in my telephone so hopefully I will not forget. I will also make a point of trying to photograph it standing in exactly the same spot and at the same time of day if possible.
Other pictures in the series - One Tree and One Street.
Today I have changed the layout of the shelves around my desk in readiness for a new group of students (hopefully at the beginning of October). I need to be able to get out books and information easily and quickly while the students are on the telephone and the previous layout was not as user friendly as it needed to be.
A sunny day although quite cold and damp first thing.
