Sunflowers gone over

Once the sunflowers start producing seed, they hang their heads and strain forward like LS Lowry stick-people. Sometimes their dry leaves rustle in the wind and they can look quite creepy on a grey day. The thistles at their feet have also gone to seed providing a carpet of white.
