'A Day at the Races'

We went to Plumpton Racecourse today...and had a really good time.

The programme started with youngsters in Medieval dress ...Pegging. They worked in relays and started with 3 inch pegs working their way down to 1 inch pegs. They were all having a great time...the crowds cheered them on.

It was my first time ever at the Races. We watched the Horses being paraded around the Paddock before each race. I actually chose two winners.....but I didn't put any bets on. The Horses were beautiful! I haven't done very well with my race photography..but in the end just wanted to watch and listen to the atmosphere.
