Windmill

I spotted this across the fields in a North Bedfordshire village while I was out and about this morning and thought it would make a nice blip.
It was really chilly when I went out this morning, I think we probably did have the predicted frost overnight but it has developed into a gorgeous day with a beautiful blue sky now and really quite warm in the sun - I'm more than happy to have cold nights if the days are going to be like this - hope you've seen some sun too :-)
I have just found out that my very elderly (mid nineties) next door neighbour has been involved in a car accident at the weekend and is in hospital. It's a real shame because he is incredibly independent, a bit unsteady on his feet but looks after himself as well as keeping his house and garden immaculate. Nobody seems very sure of the cause of the accident but it seems the car caught the kerb and rolled over at least twice before ending up in a ditch but Ken, my neighbour, seems to have just a few broken ribs - which is bad enough but incredible that it's the only serious injury. He does seem to be quite tough as I remember a few years ago he fell over a railing one storey high onto a concrete floor while a bit tiddly and walked away with just a lump on his head. I'm hoping he's still as tough now and soon gets better as he's a lovely man and frequently makes me laugh with his jokes when we meet in the street.
