Breathtakingly beautiful

that's the only way to describe the Lake District at this time of year. There was a thick coating of frost when we went out this morning making everything white and sparkley. The sun was shining and it was perfect walking weather, so we set off at Bassenthwaite.
We came home later today vowing to go back more often. After all it is only two hours away.
I've back blipped the last couple of days.
