Mr Magpie

Cheeky Australian Magpie was walking along the rail and chatting/singing to me as if to say "do you have any food or something for me?" I reckon he is used to be hand fed.
Fortunately, I have my Canon G11 with me and NOT food.

Spring is here and these birds will get quite aggressive in defending their territories by way of swooping over one's head and either "clicking", pecking or scratching. Cyclist and pedestrian are often seen wearing helmet with Zip-tie ends sticking up, face drawn on back of the helmet or waving a stick overhead when walking in Magpie's nesting area.

Interesting fact: magpie has the world most complex song repertoire or all bird species.
