You're Excused from The Table

ICYMI, check out my back blip of the last of the effects of Hurricane Odile.

I caught this little fellow flying away from the feeder after a deep drink. I rarely catch a shot of a hummingbird flying away from the hanging nectar spot, especially one in focus. Today I came as close as I have to date.

This shot is also a reminder of how small these little guys actually are. It's one thing to crop to get a nice pretty close-up. Perspective in nature is everything. Sometimes bigger/closer is not always better.
