Cars Free Brussels Day

160-square-kilometer within Brussels, all roads, irrespective of size were cars free from 9am-7pm. Handed over to pedestrians, cyclists, rollerbladers, skateboarders, children on their electric cars and scooters, and people in wheel chairs. People on my street brought tables and chairs out and had wine and cheese with friends in the center of the road. All public transport was apparently also free. Pretty nice.
