Spontaneous day at the seaside

We've had some early starts from the mini cooks recently so given we are up at the crack of dawn and a favourable weather forecast we decided a day at the seaside was in order.

We were paddling in the sea in Southwold by 1030 am and, if you were in a sheltered spot, it was lovely and warm. Hannah and James had a great time digging and paddling on the beach and we enjoyed watching them. After a spot of lunch we played in the park with bikes/scooters and ended up on the beach again. At this point Hannah decided to strip off completely for paddling, it was nice weather but that was a bit extreme!

We finished off the day with a walk on the pier and, of course, fish and chips. The perfect end to a perfect day :-)
