I asked my daughter to collect windfalls so that hubby can make cider as we've never had a mature apple tree in our garden. Instead of picking up apples her best friend decided he should hoist her on his shoulders so she could shake the tree and create a new game of 'avoid the apples'.

Seems like we should all 'shake the tree' with friends some times.
