This little piggy....

Day 608 - the day that we woke early to a very misty and damp country morning.

We headed over to the farm as soon as it opened and saw a barnful of baby animals who all seemed to love the little dude including:

~ a chick who fell asleep in his hands (and didn't wee much to the boys relief)
~ mucho kids and a love affair with one in particular called Herbert The Goat
~ 8 little piglets until the draw of mothers milk won out
- a brand spanking only hours old fluffy bambi-legged Highland calf (I want one!).

After all the excitement we chilled back at camp, well I did with a book and a brew (unheard of!) while the boy played football with his campsite pals.

A dusk wildlife ramble to walk off the posh dogs and toasted mallows pretty much sealed the deal for an early night.
