Strawberry Fields...

Thousands of people come to Liverpool from all over the world to connect to bits of the Beatles and their songs. This week I thought that I would save some of you the trouble, and thanks to the wonders of blip allow you to look at images of some of these places in the comfy confines of your armchair and computer screen. This picture is of the gates at Strawberry Field (not the original ones). The site is right on a road just off Calderstones Park, and I took the picture just after 9am this morning. No time to hang around for the perfect shot, because no sooner had I taken this than a coach load of German visitors arrived and poured all over the gates.
