Clouds over the mountains

The pattern of the summer has been sunny mornings and cloudy afternoon that get very muggy. We have had no storms for a while which means I am at a loss as to why there is ground water seeping into the back of my garage. It may be that the summer rains have taken a while to seep through the rock or it may be that there is a crack in one of the water pipes in the street. The water had overflowed the collection channel which is usually only damp and was puddling on the tiles. I spent all the afternoon mopping up and clearing out the channel of water and mud but the seepage continues. I will have to keep my eye on it and then possibly contact the Mairie and the water board.
