In Search Of The Fairy Door

I'm shattered dear reader ...

We did our longest continuous walk this morning. One hour and four miles up and down the Llantwit Fardre bypass again. We did the same walk, but not as far, a week or so back. There was a few new blip ideas along the route for the next time we walk it, but for today you have another long and winding path photo!

We were on the look out for a fairy door that a friend of ours spotted on the route, we didn't see it .. she wouldn't tell us where it was as because "then the fairy wouldn't come out.." which was fairy nuff I thought! ;o)

We spent the morning getting the petanque piste ready for next season and chucked half a tonne of gravel over it. We were hoping to have a tournament before it gets too cold. We went eight games undefeated in the second half of the season, and are currently 5th, but we will drop a place when the remaining fixtures are finished off this week. Quite pleased with that finish, it was just too many draws in the end. If we could have converted just a few 2-2's to 3-1's we would have been cemented into 3rd place!

I am looking forward to next season already!
