Nice wheels

Whilst Zachary was at his third party of the weekend, I escaped with Emily for a walk around the vintage car rally in Tredegar House. It's a charity event that is run by a local family, after their son died of leukemia (aged 6). There first event was in 1980, and raised about £650. Since then, they have raised over £750,000 for leukemia research. An amazing act of charity.

There were plenty of cars that brought back memories, from an old Rover that my Uncle had, our family Cortina from the late 70s and the MG convertible that my brother drove when he was 18 years old. There were also buses from the different era, and we stepped foot on a 1970's model, and the smell of the leather seats took me instantly back to my childhood. But my favourite vehicle was this 1958 Cadillac. I'm not one for cars, but this was a beautiful car and I could picture myself cruising through America in it!

It's now on my bucket list!
