Drachenflieger
In one of those strange quirks that confound those of us who don't speak foreign at all well the compound word "Drachenflieger" translates as hang-glider. The component words do mean "dragon" and "flier" though.
This is a male Common Darter (I think) and was one of many dragonflies and damsels here but taking a photo of them is no small task. I think that this bad boy might look better if you try it in big.
I'm on holiday now but busily trying to get something finished and sent off before I can engage full chillaxation; once it's done it'll be wine o'clock!
