Dandylions

My mother in law said that they were dandelions but they look like weeds to me. Still it does mean that it's Spring and the sun was shining today.

It's always difficult to find an easy spot to picnic as everyone gets older. They can't walk as far as they used to but still want to enjoy the sun and the breeze off the water.

Today scores a big 5 stars. We packed blankets, comfy chairs and the thermos and half way through our little picnic the St George Brass Band set up and played us through the next hour.

A perfect day.
