Rats!

My office and workshop is based in some old farm buildings in the middle of fields in the middle of nowhere.

There's us, a roofer, the carnival club and some loose boxes for storage. The gamekeeper comes through on his way to feed the grouse and pheasants who stand nonplussed in front of your car as you head towards them.

The fields are tenanted by the local farmer, who stores grain in one of the larger open barns. Another of the larger barns is used for grain storage by the Estate farmers.

With that sort of environment, it's hardly surprising we have rats. The ratman does his bit to keep them out of the buildings, but they'll always be there. Food for buzzards, barn owls, foxes etc!
