A super, smashin' day in Brighton with my friend today! Showers were forecast, but fortunately they stayed away and the hazy sun was out, so we could have the usual lunch on the beach, a walk along the prom and lanes, (maybe) the last Pimms of Summer, dinner, then, as the day had gone by so quickly, we caught quite a late train home, a couple of hours later than intended.

There was also a bit of pebble-decoration with a pen, as my friend shook her head in despair...just look at their happy, pebbly faces though!
