Susan Hangs On
I pulled all of my tomatoes last night because there was a frost advisory. I did so in the dark because daylight is dwindling. I could love the beauty of fall, if not for the impending winter. The Black-Eyed Susans are some of my favorite flowers. Along with the mums, they hold their pedals and their color until the very end of warm days. Resilience. Something a Minnesotan can appreciate.
