A Wine Tasting

We're in our usual rental property in a charming old Portland neighborhood, conveyed here by Amtrak, looking forward to a week of good food and drink.

We walked to one of our favorite restaurants for an early light evening meal, and it was outstanding. I had no trouble selecting an IPA from the limited selection of beers on tap. The wine selection was more extensive, and C got into a discussion with our server, who is one of the restaurant owners. He poured her three samples to help her make her choice.

We're off to a good start!
