Starlings

A handful of starlings wait in the bare branches of a sycamore tree for bread and other food to be left outside for them. The seagulls try to get in on the act, but they are chased off first. Today saw a lot of hailshowers, which cover the ground in ice, making it difficult for the birds to forage. Seagulls will get food anywhere, so they are shown no consideration.
