It has been really warm today and the sun has been shining! We went for a long slow walk around our neighbourhood followed by weekly grocery shopping. I like old trees along the pavements. It is one of the great things Toronto does - protecting old trees in the city.

We found a cozy Colombian cafe which has recently opened. The coffee was nice and we bought some coffee beans. What was nice was the cake the owner baked! It is a buttery sponge cake with Parmesan cheese. The cake had gone before I realised that I didn't take photos. The owner is such a wonderful gentleman with his humor. That made us feel nice and relaxed. Someone's little kindness can affect your mood so much and vice versa. The Latin atmosphere made me feel like studying Spanish again!
