Blacksmith for a day

What a great Birthday gift from my girls, 'being a blacksmith for a day'.

Off to the Ulster Folk Museum for a fun packed day us using the bellows, smacking hot metal and curving stuff.

Hours of fun and great company. No injuries, which is a good thing with white hot metal moving around :))

I'm now the proud owner of a toasting fork, Rams head poker and a fire rake; kindly finished off by the blacksmith and the toasting fork had to be donated as my idea of a 3 pronged version needed more time than we had available.
