Soup Saturday

Another overcast, dank day so it was time to catch up on a few jobs. After a visit to the wool mill, which included bacon sarnie for Tony and toasted teacake for me, Tony brought a trug full of tomatoes back from the allotment. It's been a fair while since I have passed a Saturday afternoon in the kitchen with the matinee! Today it was the Americans capturing the enigma machine - apologies to our US blipper pals but it was a British success - followed by the Great Escape, once again!

So today's haul for the freezer was 7 pints of tomato soup, yummy!
