Champagne en Champagne

We had a great journey this morning with only a slight delay at the tunnel, but that was good for the boys as they had time to play in the doggy exercise area with other dogs. They weren't sick, but poor Milou drooled a lot on our journey to Folkestone, although he was fine for the second leg of the journey.

When we arrived in Reims it was 27 degrees, we checked into the hotel, and then went out with the boys for a walk through the park. We sat and had a bottle of champagne in the square overlooking the cathedral and the boys were given a champagne bucket of water! It was a perfect, very relaxed afternoon.

We then came back to the hotel, had a drink in the bar and the weather started to change - we've had thunder, lightening and rain! It's calmed down now so we're getting ready to go out for dinner. I'm sure there'll be a little more champagne involved - but then again, when in Champagne pourquoi pas?
