First take some apples...

Today I decided to make something with some of my many apples. I found a recipe for Dorset Apple cake online, so had a go on that! It has quite a heavy consistence for a cake - probably due to the apple juices. But it is delicious!

I was trying to find some good recipes that are both diabetic and coeliac-friendly, and whilst USA seem to have loads of ingredients etc to make some fantastic things, not much is available in the UK unfortunately!

Happily my Dad has now been allowed to go home from the hospital. He has to take it easy for a while, but is well on the road to recovery.
