Ginger Gloriousness

This exotic specimen has the most heavenly fragrance, until the point when it just goes over :-( then, like hyacinths, you have to remove it quickly as it's vile and pungent smelling!!
We have had this false ginger plant outside this summer for some reason but we both remember it being in the conservatory last summer........can't believe that was a whole year ago.......mega frightening ;-/ !!
