Who needs a filter holder?
Over this weekend, I've kept away from the compuer as much as possible. It has been in full-time use as "The Hive" team webcam relay mission control.
It has meant that I haven't really been able to get around the site as much as I wanted. I will rectify that during the week - sorry.
I think I must be the slowest commenter on the site, because I timed myself last week and managed to do just 14 comments in one hour. I thought I was zipping through...
Today we took a break and went to see the new Harry Potter movie...
I thought it was great - Flick fell asleep.
Most of the kids in the Cinema (loads aged around six or seven for a 12A film?!)
were very quiet throughout - which was strange, since it was very wordy as a complex plot developed.
When we came out, it was bright sunshine- very contrasy light and long shadows, so we went to a local reservoir for a blip. I used my filters to get reflections of sunlight on the water - but didn't like any of them, so I lent the filters and holder to flick and just farted around holding my remaining filter in front of the lens and blipped this.
Those fingernails are not long btw. They are finely honed and shaped in order to get a perfect clean sound out of a classical guitar.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
