Ailsa Craig

Or 'Fairy Rock' as it's otherwise known, apparerntly. That's the weird island on the horizon, off the coast of Ayr. It's a really amazing looking island and you sometimes get really strange optical illusions at sunset - I've seen it looking like it's floating it was awesome! Didn't have my camera unfortunately!

This was taken on-shift again - one of those times when you jump out of the car and get a quick shot. A bit of cropping and it's worked quite well. It's a really beautiful coastline. I'd like to spend more time there and get more shots - particularly of this island at sunset/rise.

More weirdness - the road this was taken from is known as the 'Electric Brae' - a genuinely weird experience where the car appears to roll uphill - it's very strange!
