Could this be........

...............the most expensive salami ever?

I called in to the Ludlow Food Centre today on my way home from a job in Hereford and one of the things I purchased was this small Gloucester Old Spot salami. (Somehow the car just needs a rest whenever I pass this place!)

I was looking forward to trying it until, thinking about what I had spent and what I actually had for my money, I realised there must have been a mistake.

On arriving home I checked my bill, only to find there had been an error at the till and I had paid £12.45 instead of £2.20!

There had clearly been a mistake at the till and when I phoned to tell them about the error, they were extremely helpful and apologetic for the mistake.

All sorted now and look forward to actually eating it.
