A Short Break from Politics

I met with an old friend today at The National Portrait Gallery. We managed to talk non-stop, and see some pictures as well. We had gone to see the John Byrne exhibition, and were so pleased to catch it. We admired so many aspects of his art-colour, technique, character of his subjects, tempo of the decades he was painting in and much more.
Feeling rather tired today after spending most of the night listening to radio 4, and thinking about the implications of the result.
