Ullswater from Martindale

Our journey south is always depressing as the mountains of Scotland turn into lowland. Visited Dad in his care home for an hour, then hit the motorway. Grey, grey and more grey until we pulled off at Penrith, and almost instantly the sun broke through. A drive along Ullswater then up over to Martindale. Spotted a steamer just at the right time to include in my shot. Tonight in Cumbria, then even moree depressing as we head home tomorrow.
