Footprints
It was a tad gusty this morning. We went to Lligwy Beach and watched the white horses thundering up the beach. It was a wide expanse of beach that we virtually had to ourselves, it was invigorating to be blasted by sea sand and salty air. Feeling peckish we decided to nip to the teashop in Moelfre and had a sneaky piece of delicious cake and a cuppa. The sun came out in force and we sat on the old lifeboat slip way and soaked up the rays. It was so hot and sheltered from the wind, it was hard to drag ourselves away.
We then went on to Red Wharf Bay and mooched about on the beach. We are going to eat shortly in The Ship Inn. They don't start serving food till six so we are using their free wifi whilst we have a drink. The specials are on the board in front of me and I'm already drooling at the thought of freshly caught sea bass!
My sister said that we should have a mini photo competition whilst we are here and she and the boys will judge the photos. Our categories are...action, red, five, light, joy and reflection. We have been working on them today.
Well......must go for now as I am starvin' Marvin and our table is ready.
