Last daisies

The Cosmos I blipped a week or two ago have now all been removed from the garden of this big house, but the yellow daisies are hanging on in there!

Hubby and I went for a short walk together this afternoon - he felt he needed a break in work and some fresh air. It was hot and sunny again. Although there had been a lot of rain overnight we hadn't heard it and though we saw a lot of lightning flashes to the south, the storm must have been over France as we couldn't hear any thunder from here.

Just having a cup of tea now before phoning Dad for a chat.
