I watched the referendum results until 6.30am (and rejoiced). I had hoped to be around the Scottish Parliament at Holyrood by 9am, but it was not to be. When I arrived at 11 it was quiet and a bit surreal with the haar that had descended during the night. Nothing of any real interest to blip, just wall-to-wall film crews ambushing anyone that would speak in front of the camera. I found this plaque outside the Dynamic Earth building, I think the last sentence is very apt!
