The fog is lifting

Passed this scene on my way to work this morning. It was an interesting morning - I also saw 2 deer, a flock of Canada geese, and a gray heron.

I'm still doing laundry (tomorrow will catch me up). I picked all the tomatoes and green peppers and cucumbers that are left in the garden - wanted to get them before we have a frost. We are eating the last of the corn, and the yellow beans finished a few weeks ago. Mr M spent the day power washing the two porches and plans to re-stain them so they don't look worn out next to the new siding. The chores just never end . . .
