Everything Changes, Nothing Stays the same
My mother was born of an English Father, and a Scottish mother
My father was born of Scottish and Irish and possibly a bit of Welsh Descent.
My children were born with a mother who has Irish, Scottish and English in her, and an English father.
They are truly British.
My Vote was not a vote against the people of Scotland, but a vote for the Union of the United Kingdom of which I am proudly part of. The prospect of breaking the Union almost broke my heart; I have had sleepless nights, and my boss will confirm my work this week has been less than precise.
I'm glad we are still part of the Union, but my heart is broken for those people who see a no vote as a failure, and a slight against the Scottish nation. It was almost half and half. A massive percentage of the Scottish population took part in this discussion and it has opened the doors for greater powers.
A change is in the air and change will take place.
