Day 8- Ewwww (view from a hole in the lid)

So as I said yesterday, I thought I was going to clean Sam's jar today. Well, I didn't do that and cleaning his jar should be put on my to-do list. I can see the food rotting and it's pretty disgusting.

The kale turned fuzzy and gray, the apple is brown, the edges of the lettuce turned gray and there are green spots on the bread. I think I even saw a little puddle of yellow liquid. The reason I say liquid is because I don't know where it came from or what it is.

Another reason why I don't clean the jar is because I'm scared of the smell. I had a Bean Boozled jellybean (there are 2 jellybeans. One is good and one is bad. E.g, a yellow one could be buttered popcorn or a rotten egg) and got a bad flavor. I smelled it and almost threw up.

I don't understand how Sam is still alive in that jar of filth. I guess it's a good thing though.
