Hungry nuthatch...

...at the new feeder. This new addition to the Bird Bistro seems pretty popular so far. Today really feels like fall has arrived. For some reason, the usual birds weren't very active, and there wasn't a hummingbird in sight. It wasn't for a lack of food though, and now that it's getting dark, I have to go out and bring in the feeders, or marauding deer will have a feast on the leftovers.

My mind has been very much on what is happening in Scotland today. Before Blip it probably wouldn't even have been on my radar. I hope things work out for the best.

P.S. Thanks for all the comments on my hummer yesterday...perhaps the last for this season unless a migrating one stops by to fuel up.
