Serengeti

It was such a glorious evening that I grabbed the Dog and drove straight to Ivinghoe Beacon, without even getting changed, after work, to watch the sun set.

It was almost deserted and truly magical.

This week they have been filming here for a new production of Tarzan, and I'm sure if I had photo - shopped a lion into the shot instead of the Dog, you could see how the Bedfordshire downland could be mistaken for the Serengeti.

Tomorrow they will be using the Mansion House behind my cottage to film scenes of Greystoke. The part of Tarzan is being played by Alexander Skarsgård, so I may go for a walk in the grounds.... and accidentally slip the Dog's lead....
