Padova: interesting houses

Decided to go to Venice. It was much cheaper to go via carsharing to Padova and then a short (3.30 euro!) train to Venice, so I spent a couple hours exploring Padova. I knew absolutely nothing about the city's existence until that morning, but I was pleasantly surprised! It is a beautiful, character-ful, historical Italian town. Full of many beautiful plazas; there is a new surprise around every corner! These houses on one of the larger plazas caught my eye.
