A truckload
Our little Japanese truck did a great job today hauling back our new greenhouse (glass to follow) as well as a load of plants (on sale). We got a few smiles and comments from the ferry staff. The little right hand drive truck seems to provoke amusement but it's perfect for us.
As it's Thoughtful Thursday I should add that our choice of vehicles, home and plants too have been done with the environment in mind. Our truck is the smallest and most fuel efficient we could find. I know a lot of people love trucks, the bigger the better, but that's not for us. And on our property we are aiming to follow permaculture principles, which includes reducing waste and reusing wherever possible. If everyone did a little more of that I wonder how better off we'd all be?
