It's quicker by foot.

Today we started the day with a clarinet and pinao recital in the Usher Hall at 11.00 a.m. It was really well supported. Music was provided by Fraser Langton (clarinet) and Juliette Philogene (piano). An excellent programme.

Then we walked out to Duddingston to surpise folk that we've only met in Orkney before. We then walked across to the bike shops in Fountainbridge again for more research.

In the evening we went along to a ceilidh in Summerhall - on every Tuesday night apparently. There was 150 folk -we danced every dance including the eightsome reel a adance that is never done in Orkney now.
