Tomatoes

These belong to our next door neighbor, Jim, who was telling us that he's never seen so many unripe tomatoes this late in the year before. Normally by now they'd all be picked & canned, but there are a great many that are still either totally green or just starting to turn color! His wife said she'll wait another week before picking the green ones, but that they can be wrapped in newspaper & will eventually ripen. I've never heard that before, but then I've never grown regular sized tomatoes either. I thought they made a nice picture even though they weren't ripe yet--nice & shiny looking! :)
