Ghostly

I'm not entirely sure I like this photo, but it's an interesting effect. The original was oddly lit, and slightly out of focus, so I was mucking about with it and this is what I got. It makes Amelia look a bit mad, don't you think? She'll hate it, of course. Poor thing, having a parent who blips.

My day was the usual manic rush through. Everyone seems tired, the kids, me, Marc, students, colleagues. I think it's just the shock of the return to normal routines, everything is new and exhausting. We'll hit our stride soon, I hope. The best bit of today was all four of us hanging out and chatting after supper, the children draped over me, we obviously all needed some time together.
