Bollard weed

is what I call it just because it grows near the bollards and because I love the word "Bollard".


This evening, not wanting to go straight home after a visit to the eye specialist, since we couldn't see very well, we tried a new very cheap restaurant, down by the port for supper. We chose a €10,00 menu which included a dish of mussels, spaghetti with cockles, roast fish, lettuce, bread, water and as much wine as you can drink.

No two chairs were alike, the tables looked home made so we were not expecting the food to be very good,but it was of a surprisingly high standard, as these things go, the wine was drinkable and the asmosphere was absolutely wonderful with lots of fun interaction between guests and waiters. A really great evening after all.
