Ramblings from Zambia....

Standard one..........

Traveled to Karonga early morning (3 hours away) to have a meeting with some of my Presbytery workers from Livingstonia zone. Arrived in Karonga to heat - its on the lakeshore and one of the hottest places in Malawi. Today was a really hot day and we were having our meeting beside the primary school - the school is so overcrowded that there were 5 classes outside under trees due to no classrooms being available. The standard one class meets in this UNICEF tent - can you imagine being baked in there in the heat!!

Had a good meeting with my workers and then went to the resthouse we had booked for the night only to find out that they had over booked and two of us had no rooms - it worked out better for us though as we found a better resthouse!!
